A resident of Winston-Salem for most of his adult life, Dan is happily married and pursues a wide spectrum of interests and activities; writing essays and short fiction, reading history and fiction, sports, dog rescue, and life skills chief among them. After obtaining his Associates degree from Forsyth Technical College he began a rewarding career in aerospace happily starting as an aircraft technician with Winston-Salem’s legendary Piedmont Airlines, then as a training instructor, and remaining with the industry through many economic cycles and ownerships. Further studies at High Point University pursuing a degree in business led to an interest in the real estate profession and his Broker’s License followed shortly after, in 2000. His work with real estate clients focuses on satisfying the best interests of the seller or buyer, and how to best accomplish their goals. Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his client's best interests. “This is a business of people and meeting their needs; it isn’t sales as much as it is an ongoing study in human behavior”, he says. “My varied background allows me a position of empathy with my clients, and I clearly understand the human elements that transform a structure into a home”. You can easily find Dan at his home office, surrounded by several happily napping dogs, or at the Winston-Salem Lion’s Den. Wherever you find him he will be at your service, solving the many puzzles surrounding the sale and purchase of real estate.
